Afternoon tea at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg has been one of the hotel's special traditions for many years. Served in the elegance and cosiness of the wood-panelled living room, the heart of the hotel, the British afternoon tea is accompanied by delicious culinary creations: traditional scones, clotted cream and sandwiches as well as modern patisserie creations. The exquisite teas are carefully selected by the hotel's tea experts to harmonise with the fine delicacies.

For this experience, we worked together with the porcelain manufacturer Dibbern to develop tableware made from the finest bone china porcelain. The design of the tea set picks up on architectural elements of the interior of the living room and reinterprets them: from the characteristic pattern of the marble floor, the shape of the green tiles by the fireplace to the geometric lines of the wooden ceiling frieze.
We have gone to great lengths to reflect the special colour scheme of the living room in the abstract patterns of the tableware – burgundy and purple alongside coral and gold.
The multi-piece tableware consists of teapots, plates and sandwich plates in various sizes, containers for cream, milk and clotted cream as well as cups and saucers.
